The Safe-TL is the next generation of backup control for lift stations and pump stations. Most wastewater utilities around the world install independent high level backup alarms, but only a fraction have a backup controller. With EPA regulations, and budget cuts for staff, more are looking for a comprehensive, money-saving backup system.
The SafeSmart Backup Controller provides a complete and cost-effective single pump backup solution. Typically, a 3-sensor MultiTrode FailSafe Probe is connected to the SafeSmart and installed above the primary level - perhaps close to the imminent surcharge point.
In the event of primary control failure, the SafeSmart will operate the pumps – thus preventing a costly spill and giving the utility more time to recover. The SafeSmart includes detection of pump moisture and thermal alarm conditions to avoid potential pump damage.

- 2 x 3-sensor FailSafe Probes
- 2 x Remote Keypads
