The MultiSmart Pump Station Manager has an optional logic engine. For most applications, the full PLC functionality will be preferred. The logic engine should be selected when users are less comfortable with the PLC environment and have straightforward custom logic requirements.
For most Pump Station applications, it is not needed because functionality of the pump control module is very extensive. For a complete description of the pump control functionality, see the Product Manuals section.
This Logic Engine module can:

Read any tag or tags inside the MultiSmart

Perform boolean logic, mathematical functions and time-based functions on these tags

Write the results into other tags
If your MultiSmart hasn't been shipped, submit a Purchase Order for that module and your unit will arrive with the Logic Engine module installed.
If your MultiSmart is already installed, the module can be easily enabled by entering a new Site Key. Give your MultiTrode Sales Manager your Site Code and a Purchase Order for the additional module. To find the Site Code, go into the Settings menu, press More, More, (to get to settings screen 3 of 3) and Software Modules. Select Enable/Disable Modules. This screen shows which modules are installed in the unit. Press Modify to see your 12-digit Site Code. When you have your new Site Key, enter it in this screen.
