How do I get v2?
If your MultiSmart is pre-v2, you can upgrade from our website. Upgrade your login to access this area of our website.
IsaGRAF Option

What does it mean for MultiSmart?
MultiSmart already has a very extensive set of functionality. If you purchase MultiSmart with the IsaGRAF option, it gives you the benefit of being able to extend, enhance or replace existing functions - in a language that most system integrators are very familiar with. All of the tags in Multismart are accessible, whether process variables or configuration parameters.
You can even purchase MultiSmart as a PLC/RTU with no pre-existing functionality.
Download the IsaGRAF definition file for MultiSmart (v2.1.1).
I/O Expansion Units

MultiSmart has some specialist I/O cards which include I/O combinations not available in PLCs and RTUs (e.g. including power, energy, insulation resistance test, phase to phase voltage measurement, Flygt FLS inputs, conductive Probe, PTC thermistor, etc.).
v2 introduces even more generic I/O - making it even easier to expand the I/O.

v2.0.1 added pre-defined support for the Acromag units, which have UL approval.
- Acromag 961 EN-4006 - 6 Channel Differential AIN
- Acromag 983 EN-4012 - 12 Channel DI or DO (any mix)

I would extend my congratulations of one on the best I&C improvements to the water and wastewater market that I have seen in the past 10 years! From an engineer's point of view the Multismart unit has been one the best conceived water and wastewater lift and pumping station controllers on the market today.

I recently got a look at the MultiSmart controllers that you’ve created, and you’ve done well to package a good set of features into an attractive design and HMI-friendly product. I look forward to continuing to cover your efforts in the future.

MultiSmart will almost certainly play a large part in helping Thames Water achieve its goals in the near future. The fact you have put everything in a single box with ease of use, advanced intelligence and included a modern outstation means we can simplify our pump station switchboard design, save money on capital and operational expenditure as well as mitigate many of our current risks. I look forward to working closely with MultiTrode so we can get the most out of a pretty impressive product.

The City of Tavares has been using the Multismart products for just under a year. I can't imagine how we did it before; we can now monitor and control every station with speed and with the accuracy of information we require. We have also found the flow calculations invaluable for I&I studies during rain events. Our experience with the product and tech support to date has been excellent. We highly recommend Multitrode and its products. The City of Tavares have standardized on MultiTrode products and stand by them.

We have tested and installed 6 Multismart pump station managers over the past 6 months and I wish to let you know that we have been very pleased with the performance and ease of installation. The field staff have saw the benefits over float controls, and over our next water plan we will be looking to convert all our stations. The specification for sewer stations now incorporates the Multismart as standard for pumping station management and control. For the past 12 years in the UK, with Scottish Water, I installed only the Siemens Enviroranger (LUC 500).This is an excellent and reliable pump controller, however, after testing Multismart, we have been pleased to find it is reliable, easier for operators to use, and offers additional monitoring capabilities over any other pump controllers I have used.
