MultiTrode's Radio Modem (MTRM1) provides an interface from a PC serial port to an analog radio network, primarily for a SCADA network.

Overview

MTRM1

MultiTrode's Radio Modem (MTRM1) is typically located at the CMF (Central Monitoring Facility) and converts between a PC serial port and the FSK signals in an analog radio. It is powered from a 8-15v d.c. source.

Interfaces:

DB9 (Female) to the RS-232 Port (PC)
DB9 (Male) to the Radio

The PC connection is to a standard RS-232 serial port. The Radio connection depends on the radio (different radio manufacturers have different connection arrangements).

When ordering an MTRM1, please specify the radio model you would like to connect to, keying arrangements, connector type and pinout. Alternatively, send us the radio manufacturer's datasheet and model number.

Monitoring and Control
