Transient Voltage Protection and RFI Suppression

Transient Voltage Protection and RFI Suppression provide protection from lightning, surge and RF noise.

MultiTrode's Transient Voltage Protection and RFI Suppression device is a slimline modular 240V mains RFI suppression filter designed to snap-fit directly onto Top Hat and G profile DIN rails.

High attenuation of unwanted mains-borne interference is achieved by a combination of X2 and Y suppression capacitors and a high inductance double-wound ferrite ring choke. Transient voltage protection is provided by a high energy metal oxide varistor connected across line to neutral. An additional capacitor discharge resistor is incorporated within the design. Electrical connections via screw terminals are suitable for wire sizes up to 2.5 mm2.
