MultiTrode's Well Washer (MTWW) works by spraying water onto the well walls as it is being emptied. This keeps residue from becoming hard and sticking to the walls. As a result, residue is pumped out with the effluent.
When used with a MultiTrode pump controller, water usage is kept to an absolute minimum. This is achieved by using functions built into the controller to control precisely when the Well Washer needs to be operated and for how long.
For example, in most cases, it is not necessary to wash the well every time it is discharged. The controller can be programmed to operate after a preset "off" period, limiting the number of washes per day, saving water costs.
When using a the MTWW and MTxPC Product Family, these Functions are Controlled via Keypad:
Adjustable start/stop levels
Maximum wash duration
Maximum wash frequency
Maximum off time
Comprehensive Well Washer controls are incorporated, eliminating expensive external components. To achieve the best results, a MultiTrode MTxPC should be used to operate the Well Washer. A whole range of challenges can be addressed in this way.
The MultiTrode Well Washer will Dramatically Reduce, if not Eliminate, FOG build-up in wastewater Pump Stations.
MT2PC/MT3PC controllers effectively manage the Well Washer so that water usage is minimal, odors are reduced and the pit is kept clean. When combined with the MultiTrode Probe, pump control, reliability and maintenance-free Pump Station operation are possible.
The task of cleaning a Pump Station is expensive and unnecessarily increases workplace safety risks. Join the many municipal authorities that have achieved major cost-savings by dramatically reducing the unpleasant task of cleaning and removing build-up from their wastewater Pump Stations.
The Well Washer can be set to operate only after the well has drained to a set level, minimizing water use.
The maximum off time can be set so it operates even if the well hasn't been emptied for a while, reducing odors.
Water usage can be minimized by setting a maximum running time, preventing the Well Washer from running continuously during a long pump run.
The Well Washer can be started remotely through a SCADA system, allowing the Well Washer to run immediately when an odor complaint is received - without having to travel to the site.
The new face of technology for Lift Stations and Pump Stations. The MultiSmart Pump Station Manager provides a telemetry / SCADA solution with a wealth of asset management data. The product combines a PLC, RTU, pump controller and control panel components thereby reducing control panel cost, operations costs and energy and CO2 emissions. DNP3 and MODBUS protocols ensure connection to any SCADA system. Learn more
Level Sensing
The MultiTrode Probe is an ultra-reliable liquid level sensor. It was designed for the arduous and turbulent conditions encountered in sewerage and works in any conductive liquid. This wastewater level sensor is the simplest to install and ensures that wastewater wells are kept as clean as possible. Learn more
